I was one of those kids that had more fun with the box than the toy inside it…

A degree in 3D Design and a retail buying background in interiors and homewares, has ensured a set of transferable skills for an unconventional route into the industry. 

Covid provided the opportunity to be introduced to film and I grabbed it with both hands and haven’t let go. I started as a runner, to gain the valuable experience and learn the etiquette needed on set but always with the focus to ultimately move into the art department.   

Now with several years experience within the Art Department, I work mainly on commercials and music videos and have some experience with film and TV.

I combine strong communication, listening and project management skills with creativity and practical knowledge to support and help build desired sets.

I have a strong network of contacts, including prop houses in and around Manchester, to ensure on time, budget sensitive results. I thrive on set both in prep and on the shoot I ensure the desired look and atmosphere is delivered and maintained throughout.
